Club Activities

The Kiwanis Ceilidh Club Northside (North Sydney / Sydney Mines) are involved in a number of projects all throughout the year in Cape Breton.

Some of these projects currently include..

Toll Booth – later this year around Oct 2020 pending COVID-19 restrictions

RCMP Musical Ride – To be held July 2021

Seed and Soil Project – The winners will be picked soon!
There will be 6 x $500 scholarships chosen for Memorial High School (3 scholarships / 3 bursaries)

School Breakfast Program – Donated $3500 to be distributed evenly amongst various elementary schools in Cape Breton for the school breakfast program.

COVID-19 Hand Sanitizer – Purchased and reached out to distribute hand sanitizer to local food banks, to home-care workers, seniors meals-on-wheels program, Robins Donuts and other front line workers throughout Cape Breton.
